116. Missing Amy Bradley and Haunts and Legends of the Caribbean

Transcription

23 year old Amy Lynn Bradley departed from San Juan on March 21, 1998. Along with 2,000 other passengers, Amy was with her father, mother, and brother onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise liner, the Rhapsody of the Seas. The ship’s 7 day itinerary was, Aruba, Caracas, St Martin, and St Thomas, with other days out at sea. On the night of March 23 the cruise ship was hopping and Amy and her brother, Brad, were seen by witnesses dancing and having fun with many of the other passengers. Both headed to their cabin in the early hours of the following day. Amy and Brad hang out on the cabin’s balcony for a while. At around 5:15 Ron, Amy’s father, awoke. Glancing at the balcony he saw Amy’s leg hanging from the lounger on which she sat. That was the last anyone saw Amy Bradley. Her body has never been recovered and it is assumed that she was abducted and is being held captive by a human trafficking ring. Amy would now be 56 years old. She had four tattoos at the time of her disappearance, a Tasmanian devil on her shoulder, a sun on her lower back, a Chinese symbol on her right ankle, and a lizard on her navel. If anyone catches a sighting of Amy you are asked to please contact the FBI directly, toll free 1-800-225-5324, your nearest FBI office, or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.

Bettina loves folklore and legends, so this week she heads to the Caribbean to gather some legends and, yes some paranormal, to share with you. Have you heard of Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica? This is where Annee Palmer lived with her husband/husbands. Having studied witchcraft and voodoo as a child it is thought that she killed not only her husbands, but also the many slaves she had as lovers. Strange things happen at Rose Hall, could it be Annie? Then find out about the Duppy, the La Diablesse , and the Rolling Calves, just to name a few of the magical creatures that roam the Caribbean Islands.

In 2005 the Bradleys received an email containing a photo of a woman lying on a bed in her underwear. A member of an organization that locates sex trafficking victims on adult websites noticed the photo and thought it could be Amy. What do you think, could these pictures be of the same woman?
