What happened to Lauren Dumolo? Beth dives into the mysterious twists and turns in this case. The following is a short time line of the events leading up to Lauren’s disappearance. June 1, 2020: Lauren was arrested at Four Freedoms Park in Cape Coral, FL. Police received a call that a woman was acting erratically, displaying paranoid behavior, yelling about aliens and that someone or something was following her. After apprehending her, police enforced the Baker Act and she was committed to the Park Royal Medical hospital. The normal 72 hour hold was extended to 8 days because of Lauren’s attempts on harming herself while in the hospital. She was put on Antipsychotic drugs, which helped her out of her psychosis and when stable, Lauren was released on June 8. June 13: Lauren and her live in boyfriend, Gabriel (Gabby) Pena, were visited by Lauren’s sister, Cassie. Cassie described the visit as very pleasant. June 15: Lauren is again committed to the Park Royal Medical hospital via the Backer Act because she was exhibiting paranoid behavior again. June 18: Lauren was released from the hospital. June 19: the last day Lauren Dumolo was seen. This is a missing and endangered persons’ case and is still an active investigation. Lauren was last seen at the 4900 block of Coronado Parkway in Cape Coral, FL. Anyone with any information, no matter how seemingly small, is asked to call the Cape Coral Police Major Crimes Unit at (239) 574-3223.
Bettina covers the history of the Riddle House in Palm Beach, FL. Built in 1905, the house’s original address was 327 Acacia Road, across from the Woodlawn Cemetery. Between Aug. 12 and 13, 1995, the house was moved to The Yesteryear Village in Palm Beach County, FL. It shouldn’t be surprising that, with all of it’s history, the Riddle House is considered very active with paranormal activity. Listen as just some of the hauntings are discussed in this episode. And, as it is Bettina sharing the paranormal, some of the strange happenings at the house experienced by the crew of Ghost Adventures just had to be covered. New word in our vocab, Zak-isms.
