A 58 year old cold case was solved the beginning of this year. On Feb 10, 2022 Pennsylvania State police announced that the murder of 9 year old Marisa Ann Chiverella had been solved. Throughout the years over 4,000 pages have been filed and over 230 department personnel have been involved in the investigation, no one was going to let it go. in 2019 police had found a DNA match to the DNA left at the crime scene, but the match was to a very distant relative. Enter 18 year old Eric Schubert and his genealogical prowess. Listen as we discuss how the murderer in this case was finally tracked, or in this case traced, down.

Augusta Harriette Bitner died in 1906, a life size statue , made of white Italian marble is her tombstone in the Lancaster Cemetery. There have been many reports from people who have seen this statue walking through the cemetery at night wailing for her lost love. Anguished Augusta (we like the name) joins the ranks of a multitude of Women in White reported throughout the ages. Most every culture has a story or legend of a Woman in White, some beautiful and kind, others, well, you don’t really want them crossing you path.
