This story had the nation captivated for months. Where was Gabby Petito? The young, happy, vibrant 22 year old who, along with her fiancé Brian Laundrie, left New York on July 2, 2021 on their Van Journey adventure. Gabby posted on social media as their trip progressed. The couple looked happy, smiling, hugging, kissing as they stopped at numerous sites and camping spots along the way. On August 12, we saw a different media post, this one taken on a police body camera when the van was pulled over. We were privy to definite cracks in the couple’s relationship. On Aug 19 a video was posted on YouTube by Gabby, she named it “Van Life: Beginning our Van Life Journey”. Aug 25 was her last post on Instagram, her social media went silent after that. Where was she? Brian was back home in North Port, FL on Sept. 1 having driven the van there, using Gabby’s credit card along the way….but no Gabby. Then no Brian. Listen as we break this heartbreaking story into a timeline from the beginning to its conclusion.

On Oct 20, 2021 human skeletal remains were found in the Carlton National Reserve in Florida. Along with the body were found a backpack, a notebook, and a revolver. The remains were those of Brian Laundrie, who had committed suicide, and the notebook reveled his confession to having killed Gabby. This 9.8 ft. tall monolith stood in a red sandstone canyon in Utah. It is made of metal sheets riveted into a triangular prism. It stood unnoticed for four years until it was discovered in Nov. 2020. Who made it and why are still unanswered questions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utah_monolith
