92. Missing Maura Murray / A Haunted Restaurant and a Running Ghost in New Hampshire

Maura Murray, a 21 year old nursing student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, disappeared on the evening of February 9, 2004 after a car crash on Route 112 near Woodsville, New Hampshire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Maura_Murray

A witness stated that he passed Murray’s car pointed west on the eastbound side of the road. He offered to help, but Murray told him she had called AAA. (no call was place by Murray). The man called police as soon as he got home and police arrived at the crash site 10 min later, around 7:45pm. The car had hit a tree on the driver’s side causing damage to the left headlight, the car’s radiator was pushed into the fan, both airbags were deployed and the car’s windshield on the driver’s side was cracked. https://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/2014/01/28/maura-murray/3/

It is thought that after taking this hairpin turn Murray may have lost control of her car, hitting the tree.
