A happy and smiling Robert Wone with his wife Kathy. https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/crime-scene/post/robert-wones-widow-settles-civil-suit-in-husbands-killing/2011/08/03/gIQANZqOsI_blog.html

Robert Wone was murdered the night of Aug 2, 2008 while over nighting at the home of these three friends in Washington D.C. In their statement to to police they said that it must have been an intruder that killed Wone. https://talkmurder.com/robert-wone/

Exhibit F, one of the towels that was supposedly used to stop the blood flow from Robert’s 3 stab wounds. In Victor’s 911 call he stated that Joe was already applying pressure to the wounds with a towel and had to be handed another towel because the first was soaked with blood. Only this one towel was found at the scene. https://whomurderedrobertwone.wordpress.com/2009/05/04/towel-boys/

June 29, 2010 the three men were found NOT GUILTY in the death of Robert. Joe and Dylan both changed their last names and are now, supposedly, living in the house Victor owns in Miami Shores, FL. It was not confirmed whether Victor lives there also or flits between his homes in Miami Shores and D.C. https://www.washingtonblade.com/2016/08/19/wone-case-defendants-now/

The Octagon House was completed in 1801. When the White House was burned in 1814 President Madison and his wife Dolley lived here for several months. The Treaty of Ghent was signed in the house in February 1815, ending the war between Britain and the U.S. https://architectsfoundation.org/octagon-museum/history/

The Octagon House has been designated a Historical Landmark. Things around it have changed, but the house remains as it was in the 1800’s. https://www.nps.gov/articles/the-octagon-of-washington-d-c-the-house-that-helped-build-a-capital-teaching-with-historic-places.htm

The house is beautiful. Bright and “happy” painted in cheerful yellow, but with all of its history it’s not hard to believe there is some unexplained activity late at night. The servants bells in the Octagon House looked like the ones pictured. They were finally taken down after their punctual, unexplained ringing. (NTPL/ANDREAS VON EINSIEDEL) https://britishheritage.com/history/servants-lives-below-stairs
